The principle of UV lamp trapping mosquitoes  

UV lamb is mainly used to trap mosquitoes. Mosquito has different vision from mankind due to its different optical structure. Insects can see some ray but mankind can not. 

UV ray can not be seen by mankind but is a bright lamp

house for mosquitoes. Human makes use of the phototaxy of mosquito to induce mosquitoes by UV lighting to fly to lamp

house. Mosquitoes are breathed in by the suction of the equipment and then dehydrated to death. The lamb equipped in ECOMX1 is custom built one with spectrum wavelength between 300nm and 400nm.  

 Mosquitos predilection on spectrum  

Mosquitoes living in different areas have different predilections on the UV wavelengths because of the different species of mosquitoes and their diverse optical structures. 

For example, the mosquitoes living in North America love the UV with wavelength of 352nm and those in Taiwan love that with wavelength of 370nm. 

The finding tells us that only by using UV lamb of suitable 

wavelength can we trap mosquitoes resultfully 

The AvailableIn of the equipment  

 The radius of mosquitoes living area, according to their behavior as specialists tell, is about 50 meters. If we take the principle of working of ECOMX1 into consideration, 

that is relying on UV ray to trap mosquitoes, 

it can cover the area with diameter of 15m and more by 20-40% with attractant in use.

 ECOMX1 employs UV lamp of 22watts, which is much higher than those ones sold in the market and shows strong capability to trap mosquitoes. 

Additionally the TiO = 2 \* Arabic 2 layer painted on the surface can be blazed to decompound tiny life form and produce CO2 at the same time to strengthen the attraction to mosquitoes. 

Active killing  

ECOMX1,compared to traditional electric mosquito-killing lamp, is of better go-aheadism in trapping mosquitoes. Ordinary mosquito-killing lamp employs the method of electroshock by which it ends life of mosquito. This does work only when mosquito touch the electric net or fly very near to it. 

But ECOMX1 can breathe in mosquitoes by strong suction when mosquitoes are trapped to the neighborhood of it and then dehydrate them. 

Active killing of the suction is out of the reach of ordinary mosquito-killing lamp.

Enlarging the range of pest-killing 

ECOMX1 can trap and kill not only mosquitoes but also flies, moths and so on, and come into the area of pest of phototaxy. 

Larger market segment 

 ECOMX1 can do good job in the area of more than 500 square meters and serve much more clients. 

It can be useful supplement of ECOMX2 in large outdoor spaces and be utilized alone in smaller outdoor spaces, even available for commodious living room.
